Vinyl cover Re-design

For this project only text could be used to design the vinyl cover, the centerpiece of this project. The primary emphasis is placed on the power typography can hold in this case it is used to convey the message of the album and the feeling of the music. I choose to redesign the "Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band" album as I have always connected with the album. This album specifically embodies the culture of love and peace cultivated in the early 70s and late 60s, while the beatles were also experimenting with psychedelic's at the time of this album recording. I wanted to incorporate some motifs of the time period being such as the lava lamp and tv alongside the trippy colorways associated with psychedelic's. This project consists of a promotional campaign made to accompany the vinyl release with an emphasis on keeping similar aspects of the vinyl consistent throughout all accompanying pieces.
