Poster Collection

Two different designs for each Poster project with a set of guidelines. For the Met Breuer Poster I was instructed to pick a Museum in NewYorkCity learn about its architect before creating a poster. The guidelines included fitting a 400+ word description of the architect, include his/her photo and show off the architecture style of the building. I decided to create two very different designs,one being more street art and graffiti-esque while the other more clean and direct, both posters still capturing elements of bruatalist architecture, the way in which the Met Breuer building was designed.

For the Cubano Posters I had a similar task, to find my favorite typeface learn a bit more about its history then show off its form while including its character set/variations. Again I wanted to explore very different approaches to each poster both showing off the contained playfulness of the typeface.
