Book Cover Re-design

For this redesign, I took into account the symbolism associated with the story and the time period, but I wanted to make sure this cover could appeal to a new generation of readers who may not have been so inclined to pick up the book with its original cover. By using a selective color palette I have been able to keep the integrity of the original cover's overall feeling as I included dark teal but brought in elements of simplicity and boldness by creating focal points with the color yellow.
